OMHA Hockey
Welcome to Ogdensburg Minor Hockey! We are pleased that you and your child have decided to join our organization. The purpose of this website is to provide you with the guidelines, policies, and structure of the organization. All guidelines, policies and procedures are subject to change as directed by the Board of Directors.
The Ogdensburg Minor Hockey Association promotes good sportsmanship, respect, discipline, self-esteem and fun to all levels and members while enhancing skills to accommodate the full spectrum of player's abilities.
The Ogdensburg Minor Hockey Association reserves the right to deny membership to any individual. Completing online registration does not guarantee membership in the organization, nor does it guarantee a place for your child to play youth hockey.
The Board of Directors does everything possible to place children at appropriate levels of play, and at times the Ogdensburg Minor Hockey Association may not have enough members at various levels to field a team.
If by chance there are not enough players at a level, or membership is denied, any money paid to OMHA will be refunded. USA hockey membership is not refunded. We will do our best to inform you of this situation as soon as possible.
The Board of Directors vote on membership registration, to ensure a positive atmosphere for all. The Board of Directors may approve or disapprove membership to each registration applicant. If there is a member application disapproved by the board, then notification of denial will be mailed/emailed.

OMHA provides hockey for all age groups!
Intro $50.00 ~ any age wanting to learn to skate and the basics of hockey
Mites ~6U/8U Cost=$325.00
Squirts ~ 10U Cost=$425.00
Pee Wees ~ 12U Cost=$475.00
Bantams ~ 14U Cost=$475.00
Midgets ~ 16U Cost=$325.00
Midgets ~ 18U Cost=$325.00
When
The OMHA Season begins in October for all age groups except Intro.
Intro begins in November.
The Intro, Mite, and Squirt Season ends at the end of February/beginning of March depending on ice availability.
Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget teams (house and tournament bound) end mid March if ice is available.
Where
Practices and games take place at the Ogdensburg Golden Dome
and the Lockwood Arena.
Practices
When are practices and how often are they?
Example: Teams practice 2-3 times per week.
Games
Teams will play 20-30 games over the course of the season and will usually fall on the weekends.
Home games typically fall on Sundays at the Dome, when the Concession Stand will be open.
Jerseys
OMHA provides jerseys for all players!
Extra Costs
Tournaments
When teams participate in a tournament, the cost of the tournament is split among the number of players. Each family is expected to pay their child's share.

No players are allowed to play up a level as per USA Hockey rules, unless a prior exception has been made.
